The PAMELA project is a unique mobile application that helps amputees cope with phantom limb pain. The project was launched in Germany and is now being actively implemented in Ukraine.

What the PAMELA app offers?

Mirror-therapy sequences, guided relaxation, exercise plans, and progress questionnaires. Everything is delivered in Ukrainian directly to patients' phones.

How the programme looks

How the programme looks?

Eight weeks. Short daily sessions patients complete at home, plus weekly clinician check-ins. Outcomes: reduced pain, better sleep, improved function.

8-week therapy program structure

The first data we received show that people who actively used the application had a 20% reduction in pain and improved sleep and functioning. The project is scheduled to publish its results.
